Asking for help
We can be saved. But sometimes, first, we have to find a way to ask for help.

Interpretation
Stockholm. It was around ten in the morning and bitterly cold. Mist was rising from the water while an almost golden light crossed the canal.
In the middle of that cold, a lifebuoy.
It is a simple object, placed there for an emergency. Yet looking at it now, it seems to tell me something more.
We can be saved. But sometimes, first, we have to find a way to ask for help.
The lifebuoy can be there, only a few centimetres away. We still have to decide to reach for it.
THREAD · CHANGING SELVES
Asking for help changes the person who asks.
It is not surrender. It is the moment we stop having to carry everything alone.
